Adebayo Ogunlesi is a popular Nigerian lawyer and investment banker, he is Chairman and Managing Partner at the private equity firm Global Infrastructure Partners. 

Adebayo Ogunlesi was born December 20, 1953, in Makun, in Ogun State, in Nigeria. He is the son of Theophilus Ogunlesi, the first Nigerian professor of medicine at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and Elizabeth Okuboyejo, a fashion designer.

Adebayo Ogunlesi was born into a comfortable family of Yoruba origin. He had a wonderful childhood and was enrolled at elite schools for his basic education.
